Film & Faith Showing of "Chocolat"

Movie in Allen Hall

A single mother and her daughter move into a peaceful French village and open a chocolate shop during the height of Lent. At first, the shop's rich sensuous desserts scandalize the town.  But her chocolate soon begins to change the lives of the townspeople.

Films are a powerful medium and can offer us a window through which to explore important questions about society, culture, faith, and spirituality; both within our own modern culture as well as the broader world view.
