Reception and general organizing who can work independently. Any weekdays, except Monday, hours are flexible.
Volunteer for Special Projects: Clean and organize Church Office: Workroom, supplies closets, Allan Hall library.

Newcomer Committee:

Need a volunteer to lead the Newcomer committee at COS. This role involves managing the Welcome Cart, the Welcome Table, and follow up with all potential new members who make themselves known to COS. If you enjoy meeting new people and sharing your story of how wonderful COS in your life, this is a great volunteer opportunity for you. This volunteer position requires about 30 minutes each Sunday, and about 2 hours of administrative and communication work each month.

Hospitality Committee:

Need a volunteer to lead the Hospitality Committee at COS. This involves “hosting” about 10 “all parish” food events every year. If you like throwing parties, food and decorating, this is the volunteer opportunity for YOU. This volunteer job requires about 2 hours of planning and 4 hours of work, per event. There are 10 events per year. 

We also need volunteers to be on the Hospitality committee! Same requirements as above.

Help at Sunday School:

Become a Eucharistic Minister:

Need volunteers to be trained as Eucharistic Ministers, both Lectors and Chalice Bearers. You would then serve once a month.

Altar Guild:

The Altar Guild is always looking for members to help prepare the church for Sunday services, weddings, funerals and special holidays. We can put your special talents to use to embellish everyone's worship experience. We also provide all the flowers to beautify the church and would love to encourage more donations for memorials or thanksgivings to help defray our monthly costs. We have a number of open roster spots for both the 8:00 AM Usher Team and the 10:00 AM Usher Team.

Adult Choir:

I invite all who are 18 and older to become a member of this vital ministry of the church. The choir has a weekly rehearsal, Thursday evenings, 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

We rehearse on Tuesdays at 6:30PM in the Choir Room and would love to increase our membership in our group, or begin a second group for those who may be new to bells. Youth and adults welcome.
