Phil Gold, tenor.
A musical theatre veteran, Phil Gold has performed in forty-one states, Canada,
Brazil, Japan, Russia, the Georgian Republic, at The White House, aboard
cruise ships in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, and on an aircraft carrier
in the Pacific. Stage performances include the first national tour of City
of Angels and regional productions of Oklahoma!, The Mikado, Fiddler on the
Roof, Baby, Assassins, The Music Man, My Fair Lady, Forever Plaid, and its
holiday sequel, Plaid Tidings. Phil performed in twenty-two productions in the
chorus with Los Angeles Opera, sang with the Los Angeles Master Chorale,
was a featured soloist touring with the Roger Wagner Chorale, and had the privilege to be one of
the Ray Conniff Singers on Ray’s very last tour. A long-time vocal harmony singer, Phil currently
sings with The Perfect Gentlemen and can also occasionally be seen as a member of The Dapper
Dans of Disneyland. Phil graduated from U.S.I.U. in San Diego as a Musical Theatre major. His
favorite role is Daddy to his daughters Hailey and Colleen.
Jeanie Riddell, mezzo-soprano,
has performed with a variety of musical groups in a variety of
styles and venues, from Disney Hall and the Hollywood Bowl to an airplane
hangar. She graduated from University of California at Los Angeles
with a degree in music, and began her career performing folk music in a
coffeehouse ministry in Hollywood. She has a master’s degree in Educational
Administration and is on the faculty of the UCLA School Management
Program. She has sung with the Los Angeles Master Chorale, the
Wagner Ensemble, the Los Angeles Bach Festival, The Los Angeles New
Music Ensemble, the Pasadena Chamber Orchestra chorus, and I Cantori. She has recorded music
for movies and cable television stations, most recently the remake of The Pit and the Pendulum.
In Christmas 2005, she shared the Disney Hall stage with Garrison Keillor in his Christmas
concert. Her most treasured role, however, is Mom to her three sons Scott, Michael, and Jeffrey.
