Parish Profile Committee Report
The Parish Profile Questionnaire – Fill it out, send it back! Please!
Last Sunday’s Forum was all about the recently distributed Parish Profile Questionnaire, created by the Parish Profile Committee (PPC). Paul Kilian, PPC chair, rallied most of the committee to meet with fellow parishioners who had questions or who just wanted to talk more about the Parish Profile that is being created. In all, there were about 35 who attended the Profile Forum. The Parish Profile will be used to inform prospective rectors about the Church of Our Saviour community.
Kit and Tom Shenk provided the perfect food for thought (delicious donuts) as parishioners gathered at round tables to discuss several fundamental questions:
1. Why do we love COS?
2. Can we define what we want the future COS to look like?
3. What are the qualities a new rector should have to enable that vision?
There was dynamic conversation, some attendees talked and pondered the work ahead, some filled out their questionnaires during the Forum. But, according to Paul, it was lively and positive with good energy and enthusiasm by all who attended.
In looking back at the morning’s activities, Paul said, “Most wonderfully, several folks came up to me afterwards and expressed genuine delight over the morning’s flavor, energy, and accomplishment. A number of us felt that this reflected a new sense of excitement at the forums.”
The Parish Profile Questionnaire can be filled out online at the link below!
Hard copies can be returned to the Church office or handed in to the ushers at the services. All Questionnaires are due back by Monday, August 13.
