Give your family the gift of a spiritual home and discover the transforming power of God, who loves all, knows all, and heals all through the power of his Son and his lifegiving Spirit.
welcome to our neighborhood
At the Church of Our Saviour,
your family will join
a closely knit neighborhood
of a kind that seems
to be missing in our lives
today. Your child will be
known and loved in a warm community, and you
and your child will make lasting friendships. You
will meet parents who share your commitment to
intentional, excellent parenting. Our families have
a fun and spiritually rewarding life together and
support each other through good times and bad.
rich programs for your child

Your child will find spiritual and moral resources of genuine substance here at the Church of Our Saviour.
As parents, we want the stories that fill our children's imaginations to be rich with spiritual wisdom. We want to offer them solid role models and friendships as they build a sense of self and find values to believe in. At Church of Our Saviour we offer programs that truly engage both schoolaged children and teens and give them food to grow emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually. Our goal is to love your child while helping him or her develop a mature and robust faith.
getting together
Each month our youth and
our families gather to have fun
and to share our lives together.
Our Jr. High and Sr. High youth
groups have a busy schedule
of fun and service events, retreats, mission trips
and pilgrimages.

food for your relationship
Many of us need help from time to time in navigating the special relationship of marriage or committed partnership. We know that a sound parental relationship is vital to the spiritual health of both partners and their children. If you would like to lovingly tend your relationship, a member of our clergy staff can offer you options that will work for you.
we value parents!
Parenting asks that we be our best selves through one challenge after another! Talking things through with other parents can make all the difference, as we give and receive mutual support, love, and even wisdom! COS offers two groups for busy parents.

Godly Play
Sundays, 9-10am
Sept. 21, 2008 - June 7, 2009
The outstanding religious education
curriculum Godly Play tells the Biblical
story in its purest form – face to
face and heart to heart to a listening
circle of children. Montessori-based,
Godly Play uses physical objects and
simple, elegant language to make
stories understandable to even the
youngest child. Stories remain rooted
in the best of modern Biblical scholarship.
Large as the sky, rich and complex,
and filled with food for thought,
Godly Play stories make faith come
alive. The program also lays a solid
foundation of knowledge in the Old
and New Testaments and Episcopal
faith and practice to prepare our
young people for The Quest!

youth classes:
the quests
Sundays, 9-10am
Our program for youth has three
components. First, we explore the
core principles of our faith: what do
we really believe as Christians, what
does the Bible have to say to young
people in the 21st century, and why
should we choose to follow Christ and
come to Church? Second, we look at
our faith in relation to other religions.
We go on field trips to worship with
other faiths and to participate in
interfaith gatherings. In this way, we
learn better who we are as Christians.
Third, we engage in service to others,
believing that Christ calls us to encounter
and to love him in the guise
of the less fortunate.

small group studies
week nights
In our ongoing small group studies
participants share their lives together
while engaging in spiritual study,
members often forming deep friendships.
Many groups study scripture or
read a book of mutual interest: others
follow curriculum created by our
staff. Groups are led by trained facilitators
and are limited in size to foster
discussion. Sign-ups are on a "semester"
basis; semesters last from 6-12
weeks. New groups are announced in
the Sunday leaflet.
