Engaging our wider community to be a place where all are welcome

CHINESE VISION

OUR VISION   我们的愿景

The vision of Chinese ministry of COS is to become more able to reach out to the surrounding Chinese community, to spread God’s love and Good News to Chinese immigrants, and to help our diocese and the Episcopal Church to further develop a Chinese ministry. With the rapid growth of the ministry, we now have 24 ongoing programs, from children’s ministry to senior fellowship, from Sunday worship service to community service, from Christian formation to helping people in need, and from local leadership training to providing the Episcopal Church with the courses of theological training for candidates for the Holy Order. As a newly established ministry with the majority of members new immigrants, we need more helping hands, particularly in children’s ministry, English conversation classes, forums on parenting and American culture for new immigrants, church music, video editing, and more.

LI TIM-OI CENTER 李添嫒中心

LI TIM OI CENER

Li Tim Oi Center was established to serve the Chinese Ministry of the Episcopal Church. It has been working with Bloy House, the Episcopal Theological School at Los Angeles, on developing lay leadership training courses to meet a severe shortage of leadership in Chinese ministry. It has also been working on a laboratory for Chinese ministry among the new immigrants from Mainland China.
