Godly Play Foundation
Godly Play teaches children the art of using religious language - parable, sacred story, silence and liturgical action - helping them become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence in their lives.
Developed by author, teacher and Episcopal priest, Jerome W. Berryman, Godly Play is offered throughout the United States and around the world. Designed for children aged two to twelve, Godly Play has been classroom tested since 1972. Deeply spiritual and highly creative, Godly Play is also used in schools, hospitals, homeless shelters, and retirement centers.
The Godly Play Foundation serves children and families directly through training and education of teachers in the Godly Play method. The Foundation's network of 40 trainers, the College of Trainers, present accredited workshops for teachers as well as tailored introductions to Godly Play. The Foundation participates in research and writing about the spirituality of children and maintains a membership network.
The Foundation moved to the campus of The Church of Our Saviour in August 2007.

Then Rector Denis O'Pray was a founding member. The charge of the Society is to empower the ministry of the 70 million Anglican/Episcopalian Christians in over 30 provinces located in 164 countries around the world. Compass Rose provides financial resources to the Anglican Communion so that it can respond to the needs of people worldwide.
